The technical side of finetunes’ operations works to process audio content and metadata for accurate and fast distribution via the internet. We supply audio content in all the formats required by partners – including MP3, OGG, AAC, ATRAC, WMA etc. We also supply metadata which includes crucial release information such as artist, trackname, barcodes, details of rights owners, artwork and release descriptions. Our metadata also contains specific and highly-adjustable right information – enabling detailed territory and store mapping, as well as allowing for DRM-arrangements. All this information is compiled using finetunes’ self-developed mass-encoding software.

finetunes also offers complete download-shop solutions for artists, labels, companies and portals. The licensee of the shop-technology has access to the whole of finetunes’ distribution content, as well as access to content from other labels (both majors and indies), and online distributors.
Shop technology, hosting, payment and mechanical royalty (GEMA) payments are completely handled by our in-house developed software solution.

Beyond our sales and marketing departments finetunes offers our label partners with many more possibilities for promoting their releases effectively through the internet. We provide pre-listening accounts for content managers of shops, webradios, blogs and communities, voucher campaigns and partner banners on numerous webpages plus the a promotional tool for promoting our repertoire on the internet.
